Fireside Chats

The WSA runs an initiative known as “The Women in Leadership” Fireside Chat Series. These small group discussion sessions are facilitated by MBA student leaders of the Fireside Chat committee, Marissa Kaplan and Lyndsey Billings, and consist of WSA members, selected female faculty, and distinguished female guest speakers from both the public and private sectors.
We believe that students get the most out of meeting speakers in smaller groups and in more intimate and relaxed settings. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet and truly get to know female leaders. Students will have the chance to hear firsthand from women in positions in power about their diverse experiences and how they have navigated their careers.
Past Speakers Include:
Abby Johnson, CEO of Fidelity Investments
Ann Fudge, former CEO of Young & Rubicam
Gina Raimondo, Governor of Rhode Island
Sandy Moose, first female consultant at Boston Consulting Group
